DERMAL FILLER TREATMENT

WHAT IS DERMAL FILLER:
Dermal Filler is Hyaluronic acid in gel-like form. Hyaluronic acid a naturally occurring sugar chain molecule found in all skin and soft tissues throughout the body, identical across species.

HOW DOES DERMAL FILLER WORK:
Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers are a clear sterile gel in a syringe for injection into the skin providing instant correction. Hyaluronic acid attracts and binds water in the skin, providing volume and hydration, but also ‘cushioning’ and supporting collagen and elastin fibres and providing a medium, or carrier, for chemical messages between the cells.

DERMAL FILLER RESULTS:
Generally results can last 3-12+ months. Results will vary dependant on each individual and their genetic/lifestyle factors such as age, skin integrity, smoking, excessive sun exposure, and inadequate hydration which can negatively impact skin health and potentially reduce the longevity of dermal fillers.
Results can be seen instantly, but due to swelling and bruising, fully healed results can take 2-4 weeks to be fully seen.
